The duties and functions of the appointed DPO, as outlined in Article 39, paragraph 1, of the GDPR, are detailed in the Appointment Decree, which is available in the “Amministrazione trasparente” (Transparent Administration) section of the official website.
The DPO is bound by confidentiality and professional secrecy with regard to the performance of their duties, in accordance with EU and national law. Consequently, any reports or communications addressed to the DPO are treated as strictly confidential.
The data will be processed exclusively by the staff and collaborators of the Metropolitan City of Genoa.
Data subjects have the right to obtain from the Metropolitan City of Genoa, in the cases provided for, access to their personal data, as well as rectification or erasure, or restriction of processing concerning them, or to object to the processing (Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation).
Data subjects who believe that the processing of their personal data carried out through this service is in violation of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint, as provided for in Article 77 of the Regulation, or to seek judicial remedy (Article 79 of the Regulation).
